China is just responding to the tariffs we put on them at America's behest. They are doing what we are doing with America's tariffs: responding.
The tariffs on EVs should be dropped. China diligently tried to negotiate for over half a year on this, and we've refused to even remotely consider changing our position because we're an American puppet state with no free control over our foreign policy.
Hopefully Canadians start to see that what America is doing to us, we've been helping America do to China for years. It's time to reset the relationship. Canada deserved even harsher penalties than what it got, the Canola tariff is not nearly as severe as the EV tariff.
Anyhow, congratulations Carney. I know nothing about you, and have been unable to find anything that really points to your stance on China, though I assume certain things as you've literally been a head banker for two Western countries. Truly a neoliberal leviathan, c'est la vie. I'm just glad f**king Freeland lost. Please, please do not have her in your government.

Ah, yes, because cocoa powder and honey were so cheap and available (never mind the "yes, you can use coffee as a substitute"). I might try the recipe because I have an egg allergy, but it doesn't make a whole lot of historical sense, imo. Thanks though. :)

Me too! I'm always up for trying out recipes that don't have a lot of ingredients.
as a man who had a pretty austere childhood, my two go-to staples for dodging hunger:
- "bread sandwich", just three pieces of bread and some salt. if you have the luxury, toast the middle slice.
- a bowl full of water, drink it with a spoon like soup. nutritious and good for at least an hour or two rumble-free!

Hot water and a ketchup packet.
Spoon optional.
Been there done that...I wouldn't call that austure...Just broke.
