The leveled faster because they are attacking other players. Attacking and choosing the leave option is the best source of leveling exp in the game.

im new and i am trying to find the best way to level up so far it seems very slow but the gym for the biggening seems really the best way

There are various guides in the Tutorial and Guides Forum but you should read this.

Best way to level fast is to hit high level but low battlestat inactive players which you can find here..

Make sure your battlestats are higher than them to be able to beat them. You can do this by going to the gym and using all your Energy training Strength and Speed.

The best possible way for you to gain bigger XP is: Attack -> Leave.

Every action is Torn gives you XP, but attack -> leave gives you the most.

Don't bother leveling. You'll level during wars and chains. Focus on your stats if you're not being paid to attack.

Edit: Ben_Hagen suggested OP's question is asking how to get to level 15, although looking at OP's faction, I'm not so sure...

For noobs looking to level up, as others have said: Attack using Leave option earns the most experience for leveling.

However, I would not advise getting past level 15 (to unlock flying to rehab) or mid 20s (to get off the last page of People abroad) until your total stats are in the millions. Leveling too high with low stats makes you a leveling/chaining target because the experience/respect earned off your will be disproportionate to your stats.

OP is level 13. Shouldn't getting to level 15 and fly be a priority? Literally a matter of a few days. After that, yes, what you said.

Viciously_Grim [2752611]

If he really wants to, sure. But, he didn't ask what the best way to level to 15 was, he asked what the best way to level was. You think he's going to stop at 15?

I think we've both made assumptions about OP's question. You've assumed he's asked a reasonable question "how do I get to level 15?" while I've assumed he's asked a bonkers one of "how do I get to level 100?" 😉

Looking at OP's faction I'm going to continue assuming he's asking how to level up to 100. Yikes. (The "yikes" excludes the people level holding in the mid 20s - it's a solid tactic to level up a bit past 20 in order to stay off the last page of People abroad.)

*irritated sigh* The amount of experience points a person is worth is based on their level, not stats. Sooo, You just need to outstat people who are a higher level, it doesn't take much and there's so many level 20's and 30's who have low stats.

Perhaps some light reading in tutorials and guides?

I am not aware of any correlation between gym gains and levelling.  It certainly isn't the accepted, quicker way.

You will gain levels by attacking and leaving as mentioned by several people above.
