Book : Running Away From Trouble guarantees attacking escape attempt success for 31 days. Otherwise, have your client equip a non-damaging temporary weapon and a melee with wind-up, and set defense to use those two at the first two turns.
Take a cettle prod since I don't believe you can run away on the first turn and I read escapes rely on dex
Shock only procs if you hit and deal damage, which is hardly possible (requires OP's strength to be at least 1/14 of client's defense and high enough speed to land a hit)
Escapes rely on dex because normally, an escape is successful if and only if the opponent doesn't do damage at the turn. As a sidenote, if the attacker's defense is high enough for the defender to do 0 damage, the escape succeeds as well.
The person buying the escapes should have a Wind-Up weapon and Pepper Spray equipped. That way they won't attack 2 turns in a row, and an escape is successful as long as you don't get hit regardless of the stat difference.
