I was having the same issue. Chat 3.0 worked fine on PC but disappeared completely on Torn PDA on my IOS device.
I’ve updated my IOS from 16.1 to the latest version and my chats have all come back on mobile. Hope this might help some of you.

I updated to crimes 3.0 and the icons for all chats, notes, and chat settings immediately disappeared.
I cleared the cache and have logged back in on PDA iOS and safari on iOS and they are still gone.
I updated the latest iOS my phone supports.
if I try to initiate a chat from someone’s profile nothing happens.
Any help please?
Edit: Works okay on laptop and I can change back to chat 2.0 using my laptop, then the chats reappear on PDA. Disappears when I change back to 3.0

I too am facing the same problem in my iPad. There is nothing in right bottom corner.
I also am having the same issue on my iPhone. There are no chat buttons in the bottom right so there is no way for me to use Chat 3.0 on my phone
While we figure out what is wrong with the iPhone you can switch chat version from settings

The issue is with this (Ul) regex:
Support for negative lookbehind was added in Safari 16.4 as per caniuse https://caniuse.com/js-regexp-lookbehind
Removing the negative lookbehind via a local override makes chat work as unexpected - obviously the if the lookbehind is needed a fix may be more complex, but it was working without any noticeable issues for me.

Thank you for your investigation. But this is not the only problem.
I found a few more, the fix is coming soon.
I’ve pushed a fix that should help on newer versions of iOS, though it might not fully resolve the issue on older ones.

It now works fine on Safari, however both PDA and Torn City (iOS equivalent of Torn Lite) both cannot load pages on iOS 16.1. I've confirmed at least one other case of this, and changing chat back to 2.0 allows it to load fine.
I've had a quick dig into figuring out what the issue may be, but I'm coming up completely dry tbh. Unsure where to even start, the page constantly bounces between whatever torn URL i'm trying to load and about:blank.
Considering it's working on safari I assume it must be an issue with the pda/lite setup but I'm struggling to see what could be the issue? No errors logged, please let me know if there's anything you would like me to try because I am completely stumped

Okey, got it. I've merged another fix that should probably fix this too. Can you please confirm it?
Bodglett has just tried moving across to an android phone from her iPhone and has the same issue with no chat buttons for either 2.0 or 3.0. And Crimes page won't load either.
Same build version as I'm using with no issues
Is still broken? What phone and browser is that?
