Yes, we know eggs are in short supply for some of you right now, but we can’t let that stand in the way of tradeggtion. We want you to paint, decoregg, and creeggtively arrange one or more eggs into an eggsthetically pleasing Torn-themed displegg.

Last year's winner gave us a whole brunch spregg with their eggs

 

We’ll allow you to paint eggs of any variety, be they chocolate, hen-sourced, or the kind you find in your aunty’s beggside drawer. Your designs must reference something related to Torn, and since we’ve got preggtty much eggrything from gnomes to grenades through to tampons and toothpaste in this game, there’s no eggscuse not to the follow the brief.




THE RULES

 

Decorate some Torn-themed eggs and display them in a pleasing manner.

Your entry may not be digitally altered or we will disqualify you - no eggsceptions.

Your entry must include your name and/or ID, and 2025 somewhere in the image.

You may submit up to three entries in one post - no eggstras.

You may not use any entries from previous competitions.

Do not post anything explicit or in contravention of Torn’s rules. Eggs that are too seggsy will be pixelated.

All entries must be submitted by 23:59:59 on the 2nd of May.

The winners will be selected by the Community Events Team.

The decision of the judges shall be final and no correspondence or discussion shall be entered into.



Prizes to be awarded

 

1st place: Gold rosette + honor bar + 1,000 points + special gift

2nd place: Silver rosette + 500 points + special gift

3rd place: Bronze rosette + 250 points + special gift

THE GOLDEN EGG that is hard to find has displayed himself in a decorated manner, exclusively to showcase his glory for Easter of the year 2025. He has brought with him 2 goons and enforced that they too wear decorated cowboy hats. The Golden Egg is relaxed, in a pleasing manner, as he had his goon eggs do all the dirty work of setting everything up for the photo. These are clearly Torn-themed eggs based on the fact that the one sitting comfortably in a pleasing manner is the Golden Egg that most of us never find. Will we ever see the Golden Egg again? Who knows. Let’s just be grateful that he appeared for April of 2025. I had the blessing of the Golden Egg to take this photo and share it with all of you.

 

The background is pleasing to the eye as we marvel these Torn-themed eggs for Easter in April of 2025.

The Golden Egg was painted with gold paint via pouring the paint like a waterfall upon it. A table fan dried the paint, on its highest setting. Sharpie was used to artistically create the faces.
Give me credit…. I’m not an artist! 😭

I sacrificed my breakfast for this community event! 

Off full time work due to disabilities and ill health, however, at least I have time to hunt for eggs this year! 

I should probably apologise to my wife Bluefish,for stealing all our eggs to make this pic happen..while she's still asleep. Now she'll have to come up with another idea for an entry!!

In your house, a bunny may swing by to drop off decorated eggs and treats, but at our place the Easter Dragon hands out dragon eggs.  Ok, so we're not Easter orthodox. I added some more traditional decorations for those of you who are. Our pysanky collection grew this year with the addition of these Torn themed eggs.

 

A pysanka (plural: pysanky) is a Ukrainian Easter egg, decorated using beeswax and dyes. The designs are not painted on.  The eggs are dyed in layers from lightest to darkest color.  Patterns are drawn on with liquid beeswax which creates a mask that protects one color from the next color layer.  When finished, the wax is heated and wiped away to reveal the underlying design.

Leslie was not lucky this easter. His sacks got stuck when spinning the wheel. Not sure why image rotates to landscape on mobile and desktop though. Had to cut the image to more square.

Those are beautiful!  As a fun project, I recently tried to do this with my parents.  Based on your description, I now know that the book we had was complete and utter bullshit, which makes me feel much better about our end result:
