yeah was headed here to say same thing,
msgs are sending but getting error
Passing along to Constantin.
Thanks..!!
Based on the screenshot, it appears the messages were not sent, both tabs show them in a greyed‑out state. It’s possible the system eventually acknowledged delivery, but only after some delay.
What concerns me more is that the two tabs aren’t perfectly synchronized. How did you reproduce this issue, and which operating system and browser are you using?
the message was actually sent (another tab i had opened on my second screen showed the msg in black state so not greyed-out.)
also, this issue happens when u have too many tabs open i think...
I was using Google Chrome v135
but now I've split some tabs to a different browser (Edge/ Chromium) with chats disabled using a script on that broswer, while I play primarily using the Chrome tabs - doing so since has not reproduced this error yet tho
But yeah chats definitely are perfectly synchronised for sure… this is another bug for which I should create a new thread but I’ll mention it here… a lot of times it happens then I’m chatting with someone and while typing a new message, the chat box automatically deletes my currently typing message and starts typing a message i sent like 5 mins ago and repeats the full chat history that I typed one by one and only once it has finished syncing to present am i then able to type my text.
I see, this happens because there is a logic that says, restore the message in the input box if it wasn't sent, looks like this logic needs some refinement.
Has this issue popped up recently?
The initial issue that I posted has not occurred for a while now, but the second issue I talked about in this thread above (see my 3rd and 4th post) - that issue is still occurring where chat keeps deleting my message that I am typing because the other tab isn’t perfectly synchronised and thus while I’m typing, the delay from the other tab pushes that back to my active tab and deletes partially the message I am typing.
will try to record and show this next time it happens
