You use your Black Easter Egg.
A sense of financial stability wraps its arms around you like a warm hug.
You gain $42,568,289.

20:09:26 - 10/04/23 You used a Black Easter Egg gaining $49,390,388

Why do i get less money now than i did 2 years ago? It is stated that the eggs effect is: Effect: Cash reward based on lifetime crime earnings

Since there is rumor black egg gives u 1% of lifetime earning, based on last year of supermikk gain, roughly around 5 bill then.

black egg today gave me about 24.5M and 2 years ago I got 18.5M so +6M over 2 years. I can easily account for most of that from scamming, cracking, and disposal, so 600M in two years could be accurate? Assuming that the other crimes are basically giving nothing of significant value. Most of the other crimes either give insignificant amounts of money (even disposal is questionable, maybe hustling is ok but I definitely didn't make money there), or they give items which are cheap these days now that there is a large supply of them.

Still HT-Supermikk's eggs going down in value is concerning and I wonder whether my 24M egg today should have been more as well?

It is stated that the eggs effect is: Effect: Cash reward based on lifetime crime earnings

You will have to check with whoever provided that effect. Vanilla description of the Egg's effect is as follows:

Why do i get less money now than i did 2 years ago?

Per the current working of how the money is calculated, this is perfectly possible. There's a good bit of variance in the monetary value obtained, so even if you use two eggs consecutively, you can get different amount of money. There's no bug here.

Thanks!

No bug here. Ambiguous description gives ambiguous amounts each time - don't try to use math or logic.

This newspaper newspaper article said:

Following switch to Crimes 2.0, is it safe to assume the money you get from using a black egg will be a % of crime income from both Crimes 1.0 and 2.0? Or will it only consider Crimes 2.0 income and we should be using our eggs before we switch? - Datguy

"That's correct, it'll carry on from Crimes 1.0."

In case that's not clear, Chedburn is saying that your black eggs will pay out a cash total based on your income from both Crimes 1.0 and Crimes 2.0.

The simplest reading of this is that Chedburn and sugarvalves have told us (via confirmation) that the "effect [is a] Cash reward based on lifetime crime earnings", where the cash reward is "a %". I believe user data has shown the % to approximate 1%.

HT-Supermikk [108922]

I guess it is not a set %.

Could be 0.5%, 1% or 1.5%.

If it was a set % i should have been rewarded more this year than 2 years ago.
