As a trader, I have seen the decline of almost all overseas goods decreasing over the years. Business are no longer as lucrative as they were before.

So what does territory reset has to do with trading/points?

  • The excess of plushies/flowers (P&F) can be revalued at higher prices.

With more people purchasing the necessary temporary weapons for territorial war, supply for P&F will be lower, which will increase in demand.

Any other reasons?

  • One obvious reason would be there will be an opportunity for medium/large sized factions to gain a chance at holding territories.

Even sector 7 would be a good experience for factions to have a chance to fight for a shot on the map. Although the HOF faction would probably take them, at least you will see very high activity back in TORN.

Why don't they just think bigger if they want territories to be warred upon with a purpose?

Allow factions to build structures on their territories that they intend to hold at a tremendous cost to them but provide massive bonuses... Say maybe a headquarters or other facilities. Then perhaps if said faction territory is claimed by another faction they would get said structure unless maybe they already had an HQ somewhere else in which case they could pick one or the other to keep and then burn the other one down pillaging a percentage of its value?

After all what would be even better then just sending a defeated enemy to sector 7... when you could pillage their base and steal a large amount of rep or other goods? And maybe then the really powerful factions full of bored players would build those bases with the idea of trying to tempt someone else to just try to come and get them... At the very least it would also provide more dynamic objectives because even if you cant get past the massive amount of alliances and completely wipe out some faction just to S7 them in some situations the possibility of taking out their base might still be achievable. Since you could then kind of win by simply winning in one key territory it might be more interesting?

I am sure if they did do something like that they would refine that idea a lot more before implementing it but I think that is what territory wars are really missing is other objectives and things to do because territory wars are objectively way to simple in their current form to break the stalemates that exist.  Also the costs of long term wars are incredibly high without adding some new way for factions to profit from it they seem content to just have a truce and farm the rackets on the map.

I started the foundation for this initiative, it's up to ched and his guys to follow up with a better and more inclusive plan. But of course should Ched and his men require my assistance in planning, I will be there to assist"

R- cause bitch you aint even got a territory, stay in your lane. Also lol@130 in 15 hours. Proof current suggestion forum eval is trash, just spam votes from 1 group that got booted off the map a long time ago.

After thinking about this whole idea i have 2 thoughts or suggestions.

First would be to expand the Map to have a Sector 8 and maybe sector 9. Obviously these new sectors would give a lower amount of daily respect.

Or to expand on goodfriend's idea...

Lets say there is a yearly or every 2 years map reset.

The only problem i can see with this would be whoever is active at the time of the reset could technically quickly move into the top spots. To combat this I'd suggest a "cooldown" timer where you have to wait 20 or 30 minutes before a new "unclaimed" land can be taken. It could give other factions a chance to take some lands.

As it is right now even if a Faction fought there way onto the map, they would have 3 or 4 factions Raiding them or attacking them because you took a land from there allies. The entire map is controlled by multiple large alliances that controls the Map and resources.

Either way it would be nice to see the map changed up in some sort of way.

Also make rackets spawn differently every time and untie racket spawn from Sectors.

What i mean is make it so Island is not necessary the best place every reset. One year most rackets are spawned near dump for example, another year in the West.

EDIT: Because if its the same every time people will just fill into same spots
