Once you timeout, you have 5 minutes to return to the table. If you do not return to the table, you get kicked from the table and your money gets sent to your hand. The players on the table as well as the spectators know when you timed out and can thereby calculate when you will be kicked from the table. So it is no coincidence that you got mugged when you were kicked from the table. I have checked the time out and return mechanics, it looks to be working fine, so whatever the issue with returning to the game was, it was on your end.
