When you switch between player owned companies, do you keep your job points?

The job points are specific to the company type. You will keep them, but you can only use them in the new company if it is the same type. I.e candle shop to another candle shop.
yes, they don't transfer if it's not the same job though. Job points are specific to each company.
So you're in a sweet shop now, if you join say a PSF, your job points won't carry over. But if you go back to a sweet shop, you will still have the same points you left with.
