Announcing TornW3B, a tool for buyers and sellers alike that aggregates and displays bazaar data to help you find the best deals across the item market.

TornW3B serves as a replacement for the now-defunct TornPal, offering similar functionality with improved transparency and user privacy.

How It Works

TornW3B requires a Torn API key with bazaar permissions to function properly. While you can use any API key type, a Public key is sufficient for all features.

API Usage & Data Privacy:

• Your API key is stored securely and never shared
• We only fetch your bazaar data - no other personal information
• API calls are made directly from our server to Torn's API, never exposing your key to other users
• Your private data is never sold or provided to other users, because it will never be retrieved in the first place

Smart API Call Frequency

To optimize performance and respect API limits, TornW3B uses an adaptive system for API calls:

• Default frequency: 60 seconds between bazaar updates
• Dynamic adjustment: The system monitors your bazaar activity level
• Active bazaars (frequent changes) get more frequent updates (as low as 30 seconds)
• Inactive bazaars (few changes) get less frequent updates (as slow as 5 minutes)
• Your API key will only ever be use to update your own bazaar data, no one elses
• You can manually adjust your update frequency in settings

This approach ensures we only make necessary API calls while keeping data fresh for active traders.

• Browse all tradable items by category or search by name through an intuitive interface
• View and sort your own bazaar listings in real time
• Compare market prices vs. lowest available prices in bazaars
• With plenty more features planned, and zero changes to API requirements

Technical Details (For The Curious)

TornW3B uses the following API endpoints:

• /user/?selections=basic - Only used during login to verify your API key
• /user/?selections=bazaar - Used to fetch your bazaar data and all public bazaar listings
• /torn/items - Used to fetch item information to keep comparisons current

Getting Started

Simply visit TornW3B and log in with your Torn API key. Once logged in, you'll have immediate access to the marketplace data and your own bazaar will be included in the system.

Please share any feedback or report issues - this tool is for the community, and I'm committed to making it as useful as possible!

For now it won't contain many listings since it's just getting off the ground but I do hope for that to change quickly so I can make sure it does well under real world stress testing. 

This is still a beta so results are not guaranteed.

There are plans to add this to the bazaar listings script too but I want to ensure it works as intended before a broad release.

Still, happy to see it's up so soon after tornpal went down ;p

I noticed that it currently doesn't filter out $1 items the way TornPal did - not sure if that's intended or not but wanted to bring it to your attention just in case.

I like this concept a lot more than TornPal's.

A very straightforward approach.

'Submit your API key to have your bazaars data shown, we don't use your API key for ANYTHING else'

as opposed to

'Submit your API key so we can scan other peoples bazaars, and we might also use your API key for other things'

Did a few quick searches and I'm noticing some double listings - atm I'm seeing it with my own and Hyperreal's, though that was just spot-checking a few large items (cans, DPs, etc.). Since there aren't many bazaars listed yet I'm not sure if it will stay contained to those two, or what the causes is, though I did do one manual refresh on my bazaar when the listings didn't appear immediately, so if Hyperreal did the same then that might be the cause.

OK, very cool, but I found a bug. I logged in and it said "You have 156 items listed in your bazaar". I do not have a bazaar (and don't even own some of the things listed).

Edit: And now it updated and is showing nothing in my bazaar, so I guess you fixed it. Thanks.

Maybe because of the API, I initially used a public API, then switched to another custom API suggested by the site

Known bug I'm working on. Logging out then back in should resolve it 

I am now logged in, please don't buy my Xanax unless you ACTUALLY MEAN TO. Price is as listed. Will not be changing it.

Just did another round of spot-checking on the same few items and both of our double-listings are back to single ones, so looks like it was either fixed or fixed itself haha.
