Might be just me, but not sure what do you mean.
5th increment of what?

If you mean how many merits do you need to open the 5th increment of the bonus nerve merit then the answer is 15
Formula: [n*(n+1)]/2, where n= no of increments.

The nerve required to get the next increment is unknown.
It is tied to Crime Experience rather than nerve spent.
CE is hidden and is mostly unknown since Crimes 2.0 was released.
There are many things in play, so it is currently just not possible to tell.
