Hey everyone. Any suggestions or info would be very appreciated.

So I started a faction a while ago. It started off at a rate of 1m per hit. I had to change that to 750k per hit. Even now after the wars, I sell the caches for a very good price and still not being able to cover the pay per hit for how much we make for the caches. Why aren't we making more money to cover the pay per hit, even after making it 750k per hit? Should I lower the rate even lower to 500k per hit?

Also, we've unlocked points rewards after wars but still after some wars we still aren't receiving any points. Does anyone know what that's about?

Other than this, we currently have a great team and I feel like we're whooping ass during wars so that's awesome. Just those 2 concerns so far.

Thank you everyone for any info or suggestions on this.

In 6 months, you have under 3 days total play time, 75mil networth, and don't rent a PI.. you should be getting help and advice from an experienced noob-friendly faction rather than trying to run your own. You will get mediocre rewards for RWs at bronze level, so if you thought you were about to milk a cache cow...womp lol

I respect the hard mode play by attempting to build your own thing but without faction perks or basic game knowledge you're kinda doing yourself and your pals a disservice. Try to merge or go elsewhere as a group, plenty of noob friendly factions with experienced leaders willing to guide you in the right direction. Being a faction leader does not automatically mean free money (despite the rumors about PT lol), you need lots of members and various avenues before your effort is actually rewarded, a lot of leaders lose money at forst especially starting from the ground up, it takes time, effort, commitment, and triumph over losses to see return. good luck

Points removed as war reward. As faction leader you need keep up with news. And I see in war you not too shabby. How much tax does faction take from OC income? Are your guys active in OCs? Is passive income for faction. And as leader, is your responsibility to ensure faction has money. With great responsibility comes great poor house until have passive income from stocks and max bank. Must use own money in beginning if want to be good faction. Take care of your crew, they take care of you.

I mean, there's a wide variety of reasons.

  1. You're doing absolutely shitty hits. Getting 5 respect on average a hit from war hits is abysmal. So you're increasing the hits you're doing without increasing the pay at all.
  2. You're in bronze, of course the pay is bad.
  3. There's a reason most factions don't pay flat rate per hit at low ranks anymore. You have to get into the higher ranks to make any kind of money.

The reasons are correct for most factions, however a bit of oversight. He can't in their situation "do better hits", it's not that he's picking bad targets, looks much more like the fact they simply aren't able to make and maintain any noteworthy chain, therefore chain multiplier is off the table. Of course no warlords, and their highest level being 36 doesn't exactly help in achieving higher score hits.

I think above and beyond anything everyone here said though, 95% of the reason why the payouts are shit is simply that all their wars are 5 day non termed slug fests, inflating the payout pool like mad.

For OP since this seems like a genuine respectful inquiry after blindly following the cache farm trend noobs do without understanding anything about it, my best advice is term the wars and decay them. If your goal is money, and you can't win the war within a reasonable hit count, you have to term, otherwise exactly this happens. You're running wars at a loss. The payouts should be 2.5m+ even in proper run bronze farm, so if you're not hitting that, you -should- be paying out of your/the faction's pocket to accommodate members doing their work, as it's not their responsibility but yours what the faction wants to achieve when it comes to warring and you should know with confidence what the war result will look like and what actions to take when it comes to terming or not terming, or surrendering and so on.

Most factions don’t pay a flat rate per hit and instead base it on how much is earned each war.

Sell the caches first so you know how much you have to work with.

If you’re only paying hits (not assists or outside chain saver hits) then the simplest calculation is total cache amount / total hits. That gives you the max you can pay out per hit.

You’ll also want to consider subtracting expenses if you’re providing them - ex. xanax, temps, meds, revives, bounties/SEDs/mercs, etc. Otherwise you’ll still be operating at a loss, unless you’re covering those by some other means.

If you and your group aren’t interested in terming wars, then tighten up your strategy. Turtle when inactive to prevent respect bleed, and coordinate times to attack together and chain. Wars that end in a day are going to be far more profitable than ones that stretch over 4.

You should be setting up a system that takes the final payout and pay people based on their contributions % wise. Flat rate per hit is going to be inconsistent in situations like yours.

Depending what you wanna achieve, you're best to take the losses yourself in bronze until you're more well established - usually I'd payout between 115-125% of what I got in bronze to entice and maintain decent membership - I would calc is based on [flat amount per OHit+Assist] then split the remaining proceeds in two and split it by both war res and hit contribution (personal res/total res + personal hit/total hit), not a perfect solution but the best way I found was fair, usually I'd only lose 20-50m/war, which I simply took out of my own pay to make it easy

If you're looking to make a profit you'll basically have to exploit your noobles while in bronze, esp with ched destroying cache prices (and they haven't found their natural equilibrium yet)

If you insist on keeping flat payouts, keep it higher and take the losses, if you can make it to gold you'll start making a profit on wins and lose on losses, but that's your best bet - I don't have BSP right now to check your stats but I doubt you have the level holders to have a higher hidden rank unfortunately lol

As a rule of thumb for sub-100k facs I suggest budgeting 100m/person/month in expenses (which you'll wanna come out of some combination of OCs, wars, and your own pocket), which would cover the basics+bribes to maintain peeps (inc war and chain prizes, which you should be chaining 3-4 times/day outside of wars if you're trying to progress the fac) and the daily stuff like beers [or higher teir alcs should you wish]/candies/meds - ofc when making the budget sheet you'll wanna add your own expenses on top (inc increased rehab costs from no tol) as well as any upgrades to your armoury you're looking into (rw gear mostly)
