Where are these "guides" coming from? 7 day old new account writing a guide in burglary, while they most likely can't even finish a single burglary job due to low CE, wtf is this reality? - damaster [641864] Wiki Contributor

Chat GPT, most likely.
You are saying the obvious thing. Not any extra inside...!

You're crit failing so often because your CE is super low. Go get Search to Cash and Graffiti to 100 and try again.
i love seeing failures in T&G. With so many great guides, its easy to forget just how bad some people are, and just how bad they want you to be bad with them.
beautiful post. Terrible guide tho... might save it and spread some misinformation :p

CE is crime experience
It's a hidden stat that you gain when you successfully commit a crime. You lose CE when you fail a crime.
CE also allows your natural nerve bar (NNB) to grow although it's a 🐢🐢process. That's the reason why crimes are arranged in a certain order with later crimes being nerve intensive (2 nerve for bootlegging vs 12 nerve for disposal).
CE also allows you to do difficult crimes with less failures. That's why the conventional advice is to do the easier crimes (search for cash, graffiti, etc) first to build CE. It is also more efficient as you are able to do more crimes since newbies don't have a lot of NNB to begin with. (edit) having said that i find that you can experiment with a few crimes at the same time instead of grinding one to 100 before moving on. This is popular approach especially for card skimming which is a leave and return later crime.
For crime guides I suggest the in-depth series tu Emfordus. With the latest updates especially in burglary some things nay not be that true anymore but they are still very good guides.
Hope this helps.
Thanks, that basically cleared everything up.
Im level 94 i almost never fully case out a place bcs it Cost to much nerve, i go tor like 60% and most of the time i still succeed.
I have 6200 succeses and only 15 critical failures so its super rare.
Even if its critical it doesn't set you back that much.
I only fully case for the unique outcomes, you can see wich ones you still need if there is a star, these do give you good loot
Also get a flashlight it enhanches your chance
Great guide
