Helo all,

yesterday during RW war with JFK 2.1 . . . made conscious effort to log off for 13 hours straight and "touch grass" which is an impressive feat altogether even though RNG TORN about whole situation.

Logged in and placed 55th from #1 but it's okay am always top tier in war; changed perspective on Torn

Taking reference from Quitting Torn the new META 2025? thread. . . it seems like most established players are thinking of quitting Torn yet torn about quitting. . .  this might be useful for them.

Discovered new secret to win Torn without quitting Torn entirely at first, but the first step is the hardest:

Stop subscription to Torn or spend $25m on Donator Packs monthly

Some may be skeptical about this secret method and start to flame me with
" What about energy loss and reduced energy cap from 150 to 100? "

Let's face it, most of us don't need huge amounts of energy and 1000 energy is only needed during wars that can be obtained via stacking anyways.

As veteran top-tier player in wars who have warring experience from Unranked - Diamond previously; 1000 energy is often enough, and you will find that you actually struggle to expend all your energy since RW meta is about termed wars or else, turtle fests.

I will use 1 hour or aka 60 minutes for this calculation since it's usually the amount of time I spend in meetings that doesn't include senior leadership irl:

5 energy every 15 minutes -> 20 energy every 1 hour (5 x 4)

5 energy every 10 minutes -> 30 energy every 1 hour (5 x 6)

Difference= 10 energy loss per hour

Net Loss-> 50e + 10 x Y (where Y represents number of hours)

Sure, you may argue that the loss is substantial but look at the bright side . . . you are no longer bound by an obligation to wake up at 5am because your energy bars are full since you spent 25,000,000 in-game or between 5-10 bucks' real-life cash.

The pros of having better sleep quality and not having "FOMO" is unparalleled. Too many people neglect sleep and then complain about having to visit the doctor as they age.

Let's say you actually successfully perform the first step; here are the rest of the steps involved:

IMPORTANT: -Stop subscription to Torn or spend $25m on donator pack every month-
If company director: order stocks if any, train employees the minute you log on every morning

- First Log In -
-Take Xanax, train-
-Refill, train all energy-
- Expend all nerve in crimes -
- Log Out -

- Log In after 6 to 7 hours-
- Take Xanax, train all energy-
- Expend all nerve in crimes -
- Log Out -

- Log In after 6 - 7 hours -
- Take Xanax, train all energy-
- Expend all nerve in crimes -
- Log Out -

REPEAT CYCLE AS DESIRED

In between these 6-7 hours, make sure you are logged out of Torn for maximum productivity~

TLDR: Subscriptions/Donator Status Overrated especially if you are torn about quitting.

Cheers to all involv,

Losing donator status also reduces your regen rate, which can matter in war

If you wanna quit, wean yourself off like an addiction

If you want good stats 1-5 years from now, don't do this

$5 for donation is an absolute steal , not only the Regen etc but the monthly freebies are amazing. I also won the points lotto once.

I think you can play Torn and have a life it's not hard.

Ygaria_Varr [2811829]

There is no 'Win Torn'.

The game is open ended.

Players can change direction any time they want to.

Can adjust or adapt their play style any time.

Can subscribe or not.

New players have their problems; but big high octane players have a different set of problems.

Not sure why you're bothered enough to create a thread just to point the big beasts towards the Exit?

'It seems like most established players are thinking about quitting Torn but are torn about quitting'

Maybe, maybe not; wouldn't believe everything I read on here.

Warring without donator status seems like a big deal for most torn players so going to show that it can be done

I'm a fan of unorthodox methods and challenging the status quo, both in game and in real life.

Instead of sucking up to leadership, I was hired for my inability to suck up to leadership be it in game or real life

Surprisingly, it worked well in real life since I am now a Business Partner and being groomed for regional exposure
