Find a better friend.
Probably your API got leaked and someone is using it with nefarious purposes? I would delete all APIs and create new ones. Be careful who you trust your API with.
Edit: Could also be someone is selling you out lol the person you are ghost trading with.
This is the person he ghost trading with 100% not selling him out so that not a possibility. The mugger claimed he using torn tools i don't see how that would give him the ability to see when money is pulled from a trade... seems fishy
Ok proper breakdown then.
There are 3 options:
1/ sell out.
2/ someone has full API access and/or is cheating.
3/ someone has managed to follow OPs gambling behaviour patterns and time three flawless mugs.
Now 3/ is technically possible if OP is doing something a bit silly. For example, medding out after cancelling the ghost etc. In which case they see gambler med out - they hit. Using torn tools stake-out feature this would be easy. Same can be said for predictable online status as mentioned below.
However if hes varying his behaviour and timing then 1/ remains the most logical option by a process of elimination. Imo 2/ is the least likely, but remains possible if OP has lost control of a full access key.
Only OP will know...
Alternatively, if you are going offline for the entire time before you cancel your ghost trade, that lets them know that the next time you are online, you are likely to be pulling your money out of your trade.
They are using TornTools to stalk your online status. Be less predictable.
Option 4: ghost trader has a compromised full access key
I dont have any full access keys running so can't be a option,
Sharing my way here: When withdrawing big funds, be active for five minutes and randomly pick 5 seconds in that time to withdraw the funds and do the thing. (store in bank, bid in AH, use wrong BB, etc.) It never went wrong for me, and technically it won’t go wrong unless it’s an api leak.
I deleted all of my API and replaced them, no full access. Thanks for the advice y'all!
Option 5... OP has a history of having money on him. He ghost trades at a predictable time, goes offline, logs back in, removes his cash to deposit and gets mugged.
Option 6... OP has a gambling habit, he ghost trades, when he leaves the poker table or stops playing RR he removes the money and gets mugged.
Both options are blind luck, but very feasible, especially if he already has people targetting him for random mugs and they either watch him or have him on stake out.
All said however...
My bet is definitely on he entered his API into someone's shady ass trading tool and it's getting abused.
Unicorn mugs happen and predictably increases the opportunity of getting got.
Ghost with me and you will be safe
Nah, Im good
Lol both of those are just minor variations on option 3 - behaviour patterns.
Seems he has reset API though👍
