Is it worth it to get a bazaar? With the 5% tax in the item market is it worth it to spend the points and start to sell everything on a bazaar? Will my stuff even be sold in my bazaar or will it just sit there until somebody happens to come across it?

Yes, it's good for selling high traffic items like FHCs, Xanax etc. For lesser traded items 90/100 seem to be going on the market even with bazaars undercutting by 5% or more.
That also indicates a trend though that if the more popular ones are moving now, others will slowly shift there due to traders.
It depends on what you're selling. If you're going to sell loads of popular consumables, then sure, enough people will go searching for a bargain on external sites that you should be able to move items under item market prices. I usually sell my weekly stock divs on my bazaar just because I own it, but I wouldn't have bought a bazaar just for that.
If you're just going to sell a bunch of random junk (from crimes and such), it'll likely just sit there. Maybe if you collect a LOT of one item you'll attract a collector but it can take awhile to make those sorts of sales. It doesn't make sense to sit on stock for days/weeks/months just to make 5% more. It's better to have the money in hand so you can invest it or use it as you need.
Keep in mind that many people do not use external sites to find bazaars, or check trading post/trade chat. They just look it up on the item market and buy it. I was able to sell a cache on the item market once that was priced something like 20m higher than the lowest bazaar prices, simply because the buyer was only looking at the item market.
Get a bazaar.
You dont need to be taxed to sell stuff. LOL.
Maintain a bazaar thread. Bump it when you are ready to sell your stuff. Price it right and stuff does sell on your bazaar.
yes it's worth it, but the current in-game bazaar directory is "useless"
