Moved to QnA

Generally people recommend intro to bio and then Intravenous Therapy to unlock blood bags. After that a few options are sports science for gym gains, Psychology for the dexterity boost or general education for the boost to all future education gains.

Something to note is that some parts of crimes require certain educations to be done (scamming, cracking, bootlegging, etc.)

Want to war a lot and be powerful? IV therapy and Sports science, followed by Combat Training and maybe some of the classes for passive bonuses would work.

Want to run a business and don't really care about war? Business educations, and the few others that help your business.

You can also pick and choose what educations you want in the course. You only have to do the first one, then you can do any of the classes besides the Bachelor.

Only my opinion, others might disagree:

As flare said BIO1340 > BIO2127 are probably the best to go for first.

After that I'd recommend the whole Sports Science tree. It's a must have IMO.

I disagree on going for Psychology or General Studies. Passive dexterity is nice to have and it is a lot but going for the gym gains first is just better in the long run (and you can still go for the passive dexterity after). Also this early on you might not have decided on what you want your later stat-ratio to be. You might decide that you want to ignore training dex. This would not be any problem at all, but you would have spent months on educations that don't benefit you anymore (they will benefit you until then though).

GEN-bachelor is a lot of time for only 10% more working stats from educations, which sounds good at first, but you can get the same total amount by just buying a few trains within a few days and a bit of money instead of slowly over years after a 100-150 day investment. The temp-weapon accuracy might be nice though, idk.

After SPT3510 you might want to start going for Combat Training to unlock weapon experience or Biology again for steroids. 100% exp on a weapon is like having 10 merits in it and steroids are just op (but expensive).

Computer Science also has a lot of educations that unlock stuff for crimes. They are not a must to do the crimes though.

Avoid:

  • Business if you are not planning on running a company (not recommended early on).
  • Law. You only really need that tree for busting and bailing. Also one for companies.
  • Anything that only provides working stats that you don't need for a bachelor you want.

In no particular order:

For sports science stop after the gym gains, you don't need to unlock Nikeh Sports until end game.

Combat training - Kickboxing to unlock kicking weapon.

Computer Science is useful for various crimes.

Business for running a company.

History to convert sets to Points and get museum artifacts on the map (random) - get this degree before you use the Awareness Book. If you use blades the history edu also unlocks Japanese blade proficiency.

Psychology for the increase in crime skills and xp.

If you fight/war a lot, do Medieval History for 2% increase in melee damage, skip the Japanese blades one until later on (if you end up getting a RW one - otherwise you should use a grey macana/DBK).

Also if you fight a lot - Combat Training sooner rather than later, cos the sooner you can start accruing weapons xp, the better.

I don't have steroids unlocked so no I don't see a point in 16 days for steroids effectiveness, 13 days for a % bonus to two stats that would be better served by continued training and 4 days for a sports shop I can't buy from.  Once I have steroids unlocked I will go back, but I have other things that matter more to me at this time.  Other people may disagree.

I agree that the bio courses for blood bags take highest priority, followed by doing all of Sports Science.

While in the midst of Sports Science, it may be worthwhile to do a brief Two-week detour to get the intro to Computer Science, and Web Development courses (or 8.4 day detour if running all the education reduction perks); these reason being that you can farm merits and crime-chain really cheaply off of the bootlegging online store, and the Phishers you unlock for Scamming can give you a passive means of collecting the more than 100k emails you will eventually need in order to do Scamming crimes (they take a long while to accrue that many emails, so starting early can be a good idea).

After Sports Science is complete, you have some options of what to do next, but by then you should be somewhat close to starting cracking crimes, so it is likely a good idea to do the three computer science courses related to cracking, as all three massively reduce the amount of nerve you spend on that crime, and it's a good crime to invest in because the CE and money it provides mean that it is one of the few crimes worth continuing after you max out CS on every crime.

At that point I did psychology, both for the huge boost to Dex, and because I want to bolster my Crime Experience income so I can more reliably do higher paying OCs, and more effectively farm money from crimes.

Several other courses in Biology give fantastic benefits, and you will want to be able to use steroids some day. That all makes Bio another good option to focus on after SS courses are complete.
