So in general I can't find anything that proves that we care about your GD posts

I am not confused at all.

(Jokes aside this thread probably belongs in Q&A)

Read up on how poker score works here - if you're too lazy I'll copy paste the sparknotes:

Absolutely everything matters with score.

  • You must win the hand to get any score.
  • Score never goes backwards so losing is irrelevant
  • Higher limit tables give more score
  • Better cards give more score. (pair scores better than high card.. etc., max score for royal flush)
  • More opponents give more score
  • Each turn later in the hand is more score (pre-flop, flop, turn, river, showdown) Showdown meaning at least 1 opponent stays to show cards. If they fold before showdown you get less score.
  • If you kick someone off the table by taking all their money there is a big increase in score
  • Higher bets gives more score, but is surprisingly not too important. It is mostly the size of the blinds at different tables.
  • Above are facts. This is an educated guess, but I think the opponents' hands matter. eg: I think you get more score if someone folds with a straight vs if they folded junk. I think it might be like the fair fight bonus.
