It's nice that you want to advertise your faction. However, there is a faction recruiting spot and General Discussion isn not that spot. The Forums are a tough are to navigate at first. take a bit of time to look over the titles of the forums available and make sure you choose the appropriate spot to do it in so that you don't get negative attention brought on to you or your faction. People around here think the best way to teach is to respond aggressively and let you figure it out. They are really nice people once they get to know you ,if you aren't a total dick, but they are unforgiving of those who ignore the rules of the forums.
When they told you to help advertise their faction, they meant to do it in faction recruitment
