    There's a 1/80 chance of the keg breaking upon each pour. Number of glasses that have been poured out does not have any implication in deciding the break rate as far as I know. Thanks!

    Can confirm, you can get a brand new keg and roll empty on the first try getting no beer at all. I've had some terrible luck with these getting a total of only 39 glasses from 4 kegs used up.

I just bought a keg of beer and so far I've had 300 glasses from it. 

It's not empty, I just stopped pouring. 

 

I realise it's supposed to be a random amount and the wiki says around 80.

This just seems it might be broken so just checking I can continue my binge drinking?

Keep tapping the keg - the "around 80" is the expected average.

It is a bit like Xanax and overdosing - every beer has a chance of being the last, whether it is your first or your thousandth.

 

If it makes you feel better, somewhere out there are players with the opposite end of the RNG luck-o-meter.

I found a better bug.. 

 

You can pour 20 - 30 goes then put the keg back on the item market for the same money..

 

P.S i removed my kegs after I checked the bug... Feel like this needs a progress bar so it cant be sold after started to be used!! Total free nerve money making glitch...

Not sure that would that be considered a bug Angelsman. It's been well known kegs are risky items to be bought as people pull loads and realistically them all part of the risk of buying that item. Besides the system would need to know how many glasses would be poured from each keg for a progress bar. Sounds like a lot of work completely changing the dynamic of the item. Unless you had a sealed and unsealed category.

That isn't how it works. You didn't "use up" some of that keg. There is no "amount of beer to be used up" in them.

Consider the keg of beer like a game of Russian Roulette with 80 chambers and 1 bullet, and after every shot you spin the barrel.

If you fire a bullet, the game is over and a keg is taken away.

 

Even a "brand new, fresh keg" could vanish after just 1 beer.

There is no glitch here, you were just lucky that none of those 20 to 30 uses of the keg landed on the RNG "poof, it's gone" result.

 

 

Unless you already knew this of course, and your post was just meant to be humourous and failed.

1/80 is 1/80… good odds. Nice deceptive tactic the description has for it. Could have just stated it’s a 1/80 chance each pour… thought I was being scummy for re listing these kegs after pouring em

This post shows in the wiki page of keg of beer. I had to go to the wiki to make sure that I wasn't a victim of an overused keg. I have opened 3 kegs so far, over a 2 year interval. The first one gave about 50 glasses, the 2nd over 100 glasses. But the one I got moments ago from a bazaar gave me a measly 12 glasses, which prompted me to get clarity from the wiki. Glad to know it's a game of chance. One can get zero glasses to as high as 300.
