There was a time where Ched was giving some love to companies a few years back releasing something new every 3-4 months for well over a year and during that time ched released:

  • Strip club perks reworked
  • Lingerie 10 star perk added (free bct)
  • Gas station heal
  • Music store's XP gains
  • The next cheapest startup after Cruiseline (300m) was TV (8b).. during this time ched fixed the gap releasing PSF, Mining, Logistics to add more affordable end game companies in between.

Ched added/reworked what are some of the most desired companies/perks... regardless if the company was a cheap one or an end game one, it created a lot of excitement and new ways to play. A r+ here is just a push for Ched to go back to giving companies some much needed love.

There are still a handful of shitty companies that could use better perks, and a big gap for rich players (as 30b buys you all stocks with good ROI, 2b in the bank, and a 10-15b company end game company... with nothing left except for PI's to rent out) so there is plenty of room to rework current companies / create new ones (with plenty of room for early, mid, and late game companies).

I'd also like to note that back in the day companies had infinite play count upgrades (people actually did spent 300b on their oil rigs as more employees produced a little more cash)... for whatever reason this was removed and now people dump 300b into a dozen oil rigs that their friends, cousins, and dogs are running.  It eats up more workforce (hiring is so shit rn), encourages multies (ex. smth faction), and produces more cash with all dozen companies combined vs a player that dumped 300b into one company. Worst decision ever made in the game. But more importantly to the 5000+ players reaching 30b nw... these end game players have been robbed of anything else to invest into since the end game is hard capped at a rig and it's fixed upgrades.  Companies are extremely flooded due to this being the biggest reason, and nerfs from stocks caused many to just negate the removal of stock cash in favor of mass companies so some love given to fix this issue would also be nice but the major ask is just give us some new content, big or small companies.

Many companies still need updates to be improved/become desirable as there are way too many companies that still barely have competition... there is a large room for more mid game companies (that zoo/cruiseline few hundred million area)...there is plenty more room for newbie companies with cool desirable new perks, and endgame players need some love since it was stripped away from them many many years ago.

There are still a lot of very sub optimal companies that I look at and can't imagine why people want to be in them or run them

No harm in R+

There are some companies which are just a no-go for me when I'm actively playing.

R+ as companies need to be updated.

No question that changes are needed to the company system. My understanding is that the company system is the single largest source of money creation in the game.  The crazy part is probably half of the companies exist just so the owner can have an unlimited vault.  So, because money storage hasn't been addressed, there is an oversupply of companies thus creating worker shortages. On top of that, competition for workers leads to most company types being unprofitable. There are also gross imbalances in perks and revenues that have been allowed to grow over time.

Readjusting company perks is hard work and Ched isn't into hard work these days. Also, while I would love to see some ultra high end companies, Ched ain't into programming anything for end game players.
