Device: samsung SM-A155M Android: 15 App version: 2.2.46
My phones audio notification is set to a voice I found and it used that sound for a short while but then went back to my phones default notification chime. I tried changing the notification sound but it wouldn't work, any idea why? Getting annoying hearing the default chime of Samsung phones. Very minor issue yes, sorry if I take up your valuable time.
I had this same issue on my Samsung, ended up reinstalling Torn and it fixed it.
Can you please try re-installing the app and see if it resolves the issue?
Yep its fixed, any way I can make it my phones notification sound instead of torns built in audio effects?
You will have to check that in phone's settings, the app cannot do it natively. You filed a report because your phone's notification sound was being used, this is now fixed and you want to go back to using phone's notification sound again?
There IS a way to do it natively - in the notification drop-down where you choose the built-in notification sound the bottom option is "Custom sound". This, however, is a bit clunky - you need to navigate your device's folder structure, it doesn't simply show you a list of your notification sounds.
Unfortunately, with this setup of file browsing, you may not be able to access the default Android notification sounds due to folder access permissions.
