I think a paid position that manages a fully controlled github/equivalent would be nice, a fairly static section of the site (e.g. wiki) I think would be bad though.
Atm it's just voluntary, and tbh no pre-shade to the guy or any particular staff member, but we all know what that gets us.

I have to agree with MrRightSA on this one. While I dont know nor have I ever worked with Velthir to speak to their credibility, experience, and morals. It seems super sketch to have a leader of one of the big faction families as the script moderator,who can then just copy it and use it for their own faction family.

a torn integrated script system would be great. all scripts would need to be approved. the relevant scripts would automatically run on the relevant pages without needing any external app. it would also create a in-game easy and vibrant script market that can be bought just like any items.. disallow any and all 3rd party scripts or tools.

The scripts provided for moderation purposes should only be used for just that, moderation purposes. He's allowed to try out scripts to ensure that they conform to the rules, but that's all.

once he's seen the script, what it does and how it does it, it'd be pretty easy to replicate it for personal or faction use

There is an issue with that - they don't have to copy the script, just the core idea and execution. Can just share it as an idea with faction mates. While this position is very welcome, i have to agree that a leader of one of the core factions holding it is a huge detriment. Wouldn't be surprised if a lot of developers are hesitant to work with them exactly because of it.
Oooooft nothing against this guy (that I’ve never heard of) but I do think it’s abit fishy leader of PT is now staff and a script verifier, hope he checks his own guys first 😂 anywho hopefully it brings change in scripting
How long does IBF gives advantage to the factions that he sits in then? So no one who is part of a HOF faction should be an officer? Is that what you are suggesting? And regarding the part of being a leader, a member can present the ideas/scripts the same way a leader would.
