Temporary Blocks from tabbing in vault

When I frequently alt-tab (or switch between tabs) while using my property vault on Firefox, the game will reliably give me the TEMPORARY BLOCK screen even when not using any scripts. This is a massive problem for me as rapid vault access and tab switching is really common for me while trading.

Browser: Firefox 115.27.0esr (64-bit)

 

Steps to reproduce:

1) Navigate to property vault (owned by spouse in my case)

2) Wait a minute to ensure a clean test

3) Ctrl + V "10,000" into withdraw window and click withdraw

4) Alt + tab out of Firefox and then immediately back in.

5) Click the deposit maximum button then click deposit

6) Alt + tab out of Firefox and then immediately back in.

7) Keep repeating steps 3 through 6 quickly until a Temporary Block screen occurs.

Neither rapidly withdrawing and depositing without alt-tab or alt-tabbing without moving money appears to trigger the blocks.

I normally use torntools while playing, but I disabled it during testing.

The tests used alt-tabbing, but while playing normally, I've gotten vault-related blocks just using tabs within Firefox to other parts of Torn.

Bug attempt #1: I alt+tab out of and in to firefox between every transaction.

Can you replicate the issue in a another browser like Chrome with all of your scripts and extensions turned off?

Did a fresh install of Chrome. Version 109.0.5414.168 (Official Build) (64-bit)

 

My first attempt at recreating the bug in Chrome didn't work (no temporary block), even after about 90 seconds of alt+tab transactions it was fine.

 

I then went back into Firefox to replicate it and do some further testing and easily encountered a temporary block there a few times.

 

Swapped back over to Chrome to retest and managed to get temporary blocks at least three times under the same conditions as the first test. There was also severe UI lag on deposit maximum button for this later set of tests. On the order of 3 to 5 seconds between button press and 10,000 appearing in the text field.

 

To be clear, Firefox was closed while Chrome was open and vice versa, so there shouldn't be contamination. Not sure what to make of the first test.

I was able to reproduce the issue. I will ask Alexander to check if there's something that is triggering excessive requests from the Vault page. Only took me 10 deposits + 10 withdrawals in a duration of 67 seconds to trigger the block.
