Dogs were shit, an utter waste of energy. The only people that talk about them are noobs that like to pretend the are old skool...

Golden era was before factions proper, before resepct, where you just kicked the crap out of people until they gave in...

I miss fighting the dogs, but i miss the old faction system more and wish raids rewarded the respect you take from a faction.

i disagree of when the golden era was. 

for me, it was when factions existed in the early days, we chained over weekends for no other reason than to earn respect to show we had the bigger peens. no bonuses, using irc bots for chain watching, and extortion/protection rackets amongst factions, and it lasted until faction bonuses were introduced. 

Oh, and a time before happy jumps, and before noobs had it so easy to grow lol

JFA n MnC days when i started. Factions still fought each other outside of RW, people kicked the shit out of people to f**k with em. Hosping people was more of a drain of time/resources and wasnt quite as easy to evade if you made a name for yourself.

Advanced weapons/armor are nice to liven up combat between different stat ranges but back then it was a lot more based on activity, routine and reputation

Voting for torn city on ranking sites to get stuff was a daily ritual at school

team mugs with friends was fun and all the other ways to do it 

most options to find a target were removed, it's a Shane

My golden era is when there was no market fee.

Selling SE to BodyBagger and Sif and watching the mug wars between them. What a time to be in torn.
