Please come back when you understand what is going on.
Literally the only thing Trump said that isn’t yet complete… is Russia UK
We had b2 bombers fly over Putin and Trump on the tarmac. Zelensky is going to the White House Monday. The world likes the idea of not having a “cease fire” and we get a lasting agreement.
No, he shouldn't try incompetent peace talks.
You understand it's "JailTrump" not "ILoveTrump".
Trump is a rapist.
I like the fact that trump is trying, even in fact making it a priority.
Western Europe should have dealt with this. But we are old. VERY old. Meek many would say.
There is still imbedded trauma from 2 world wars large parts of both of them fought in europe
The uk, germany and france should have sorted this out. But we cant. Because we are too timid too old and too meek.
Germany is literally pacifist now in every single way because of the 2 world wars they started. They still maintain a military of sorts, but its not well maintained and they dont want to 'use' it so it just gathers dust and 'rots'
The UK is the same as well. Used to be a 'empire' but its all been about pulling back over this century and the 20th century. When was the last time the UK exerted its power truly? In the falklands war? That was 1982 wasnt it? A LONG time ago a VERY long time ago. Since then the uk has substantially reduced military spending BIG TIME. If Argentina really thought it was worth the trouble they could easily take the Falkland Islands now and there would be very little the uk could do about it.
France is also the same as well. France had a empire of sorts, large part of the world speak french because france had a empire in the past. the past.
The uk, germany and france are now too old to sort out putin. which is very sad. So the best the old people can do is put sanction on russia and help Ukraine by sending them 'stuff'.
If it was right in western europe we would have just told putin no he cant do what hes doing and he would have stopped.
But putin knows europe is old, so hes going to carry on until he decides its over or he literally dies of old age or is replaced.
As a blogger said on twitter, there should have been a sniper ready in Anchorage as soon as he landed and left the plane, then arrest Lavrov put him on trial and then hang him.....like they did with the German Nazi's back in the 40's
Edit: corrected spelling of plan to plane
!
You’re advocating presidential assassinations? 🤦🏻♂️
Yeah, imagine having Hitler assassinated in the past, the Yugoslav leaders before what they did in the 90's, Idi Amin, Pol Pot, Stalin before they did what they did, it's like having to repeat myself over and over
You should call 999 and tell them all about your perspectives. I’m sure they’d love to hear it.
Europe isnt just old now. It was old when world war 2 ended. It was america who did a lot of the heavy lifting in yugoslavia.
The yugoslav civil war 'ended' about 25 years ago. That is a LOT closer to home than the Ukraine and the old powers in europe couldnt sort it out 35 years ago. The old powers in europe are even older now.
Im 51 so i saw what was happening in yugoslavia. It was disgraceful the way how the old powers in europe handled it.
Trump is very wise to nag nato members to fulfil treaty obligations ie committing a minimum set % of their GDP on military spending. A lot of members still arent doing it, but they have to do it for their own good ....
Well I know who reported my earlier post, staff edit - extreme flaming
Edit: the same idiot who cries in multiple threads and spends half their day reporting posts...including this one!
On NATO, some countries have to slowly increase their military spending over years, some are starting from the ground up.
I want to start by apologizing for the heated tone in our recent discussion. Emotions got the better of me, and I could’ve expressed myself with more clarity and composure. That said, it’s hard to have a meaningful dialogue when one side isn’t open to genuine debate. Dismissing opposing views without consideration isn't strength—it's bias in action.
Disagreement is fine. Healthy, even. But if your only response to being challenged is deflection or personal attack, you’re not debating—you’re defending a worldview at all costs. I’ll own my part in the tension. But I also challenge you to reflect on your unwillingness to engage in good faith. We can disagree and still converse—if that’s what you’re actually here to do.
Collete, stop twisting yourself into a pretzel to defend him. Nobody said peace talks are bad — what’s pathetic is watching a supposed ‘tough guy’ get walked like a dog on the world stage. If your ‘deal maker’ can’t get a single concession and comes off looking like a senile fanboy begging for attention, that’s not peace, that’s humiliation.
Pretending otherwise just makes you look like the last person at the circus who doesn’t realize the clown is you.
