I believe this is a case by case basis. Many people are allowed to come back under a new account after a certain period, they just can't have their old stuff given to them (i.e Hotshots coming back as OVOXO).
However, other cases are so aggregious that you aren't given another shot.
A lot of people are saying that Prox shouldn't have been warned because someone who just admitted to breaking the rules said that staff cleared it.
If someone said "hey, I have three accounts but staff said it's fine" would you believe them or would you report it? Why would staff say that breaking the rules is fine?
Proxima is a smart guy, the chat isn't nuanced. LustDragon flat out says that the odds were messed up and he took advantage of it to make money. That's bug abuse. It's not like Prox wasn't aware of the issue, he talks about how the odds were swapped here and how it's fair that Torn reclaimed the bugged money. That was 12 days ago, two days after LD had told him that he knowingly abused the bug, and it was never reported, despite staff clearly not okaying it.
I want to be safe so if anyone could answer my question properly i would grearly appreciate.
- So betting on wrong bets is considered bug abuse? Like im not talking about using multies or doing it on mass scale through others. Just me noticing good odds and betting 1b on it. Is it illegal?
- Is using negative balance to be unmugable considered bug abuse? Again no multies/mass use. Just me knowing about this particular interaction and thinking "might as well get something good our of being in negative"
- Looking at Proxima's chat log... if get messaged and i honestly with no offense dont give a f**k and dont f**king understand what player is talking about but out of respect write to them "cool" or "nice". Will i be responsible for abbeting? Do i need to message Julie everytime im suspicious?
Yeah I totally remembered an off-hand comment in a part of a chat i wasn't interested in, and that definitely means i was trying to abet bug abuse.
Also betting janky odds (can mean a lot of things) is definitely comparable to having multiple accounts (means one thing).
No one is buying this, but do continue.
I also defo don't have a history of reporting players that I think are cheating, even players I'm suspicious of in my own faction, so it's definitely a clear case of me just wanting this guy to get away with cheating 👍
The punishment (warning) is irrelevent. You have stated definitively that I have abetted bug abuse. That is categorically incorrect and ridiculous.
When every major decision ends up causing confusion, controversy, or a “WTF?” reaction, and the CM responds by losing their cool and attacking players, it’s hard not to wonder where the real problem lies tbh. Maybe it’s time Ched looked at the CM’s behaviour.
I know there is a period of time where they cant make a new account (I think it was 3 months). When that time passes they are allowed to make another one if staff clears them to do so

LustDragon69 abetted a multi bet on the bookie to avoid the money being withdrawn after the bet was null & void. Bogie put him on a 90-day fed, then permanent after further discussion. The last 20 pages have just been poo-flinging (as expected)

LD sounds like every degen gambler in those messages to Prox. Comparing it to multis is not even remotely equivalent.
i personally looked through the rules quite a bit after the money got taken back cause I felt sour about losing 2b on a whim.
