What band has a whole weekend named after them? They have played for 25 consecutive years at the same venue, beginning with their 2001 Labor Day weekend show and continuing through their 2025 residency. This band has a long-standing tradition of a three-night Labor Day weekend
ooh! I know I know!
Hello Darling,
I am sure you know this... LOL Hopefully a newer player will also
I think I might know who it is but not totally sure.
🙂↕️Dave Matthews band
The tradition of the Dave Matthews Band (DMB) playing at The Gorge Amphitheatre during Labor Day weekend was brought about by the band's strong connection to the venue, their fans' desire for an annual, multi-night event, and the remote, beautiful setting of the amphitheater itself, which provides a unique, communal experience that closes out the band's summer tour each year. The band's first performance at The Gorge was in 1996, and the annual Labor Day residency, often called "Labor Dave," officially began with a three-night run in 2001 and has continued since.
