PSA: butter is usually around 15% water.

To keep your popcorn from getting soggy, melt the butter over medium-low heat until it starts to bubble. Adjust as needed to keep it bubbling without burning. Once the bubbling stops you’ve gotten rid of the bulk of the water. Keep it melted over very low heat until the popcorn is ready.

Drizzle the butter over the popcorn and top with fine salt and whatever puts the wind beneath your wings. If possible cover the bowl tightly and shake to distribute the joy.
