Gangs

Growing up in torn forces us to fight for survival at a young age. Most of us that make it to adults only did so by joining gangs or hiding under a rock for 18 years. Most of the gangs exploit the younger members, using us to do the things that no one else wants to. I was robbing pizza parlors at 8 years old, by 14 I had graduated to bank robberies, and residential burglary. Now I'm old enough to be considered an OG. I still do the dirt, but mostly by myself or with trusted experienced associates. Most of the smart law enforcement will turn a blind eye if you give em a nice bribe every so often. They might even tip you on who's looking to knock over who, or any investigations that might be underway, and other wise guys that should be avoided. Once in awhile they might even offer you some work. I had to whack a couple of agents looking at a corrupt cop on my payroll. Catching him would eventually be bad for me. So the agents disappeared and no one has bothered my cop friend about his dirty deeds since. If you survive long enough to be an OG, you eventually have to realize that everyone who's anyone has made friends with someone in the law enforcement side of things. Because without friends, your just a small fish in a pond full of sharks. If someone is a king pin, it's cuz the cops let it happen. It's sad but true. If a mob boss has held his position for 5 or 10 years, and never been arrested, they got friends in the law or they are rats for the feds. That's the only way they can stay in power for so long without getting busted. Let the law protect them, and take out the rivals for em. While they just sit around and get fat. Just something to think about.
