Boys and girls of every age
Wouldn't you like to see something strange?
Come with us and you will see
This, our town of Halloween!
I Hope everyone is as excited for this time of year as I am, Halloween is just round the corner I am making sure everything is prepared from a stock check on my energy drinks to making sure I have a company lined up - Join me as we get prepared together!
First things first what is halloweek for the uninitiated?
Halloweek is a weeklong event running from the 25th of October until the 1st of November.
The aim of Halloweek is twofold, either to get to 9999 treats in your basket so that you can summon the Miasmic One M'aol and it's minions or to trade in your treats for powerful god-powered upgrades and loot!
Unless you are planning to spend 3-4 years collecting treats spending on FHC/Cans for no profit and at the same time willing to dump 59,000 energy and $4.07b of lost loot (from lost energy) down the drain. (1.72424 treat per attack average). Then you wont be going for the cthulhu summon. So I wont be describing the prep for that by ask Proxima or Heasleys4hemp if you are determined as they will be the 2 people to have ever gotten to 9999 treats.
So, moving on to how to prepare to get the most out of the event, If you are planning on continuing to play torn for years to come then in your first year you should be preparing your basket. This can be done on or off book however I did it on an energy book. The first year of the event will be following the upgrade path set out by andyman here:
As noted it will take around an entire event with no book to get to 7-8... with a book you can blast past this and get the upgrades you need to actually start farming your first year. which is what I did right at the end. Step 20 becoming all the more important with arsons release just 1 month before Halloween. I'm sure people will still be grinding it.
As mentioned in Andyman's 2024 halloweek one-stop-shop guide here: https://www.torn.com/forums.php#/p=threads&f=2&t=16424442&b=0&a=0&start=0&to=25210098
Im not going to plagiarize this full guide go and give it a like and follow it as it is still is as useful as ever.
You will want to be in an energy company with job points available to spend to your cap of 100 points per day of the event (800 points).
Make sure you are stocked up on points for refills.
Make sure you have stocked up on boosters that you wish to use. (with a fully upgraded basket 30e cans are profitable with faction perks)
Make sure that with the above if you are wanting to be on a book that it coincides nicely with the boosters you plan on using and the company specials.
Get some MCS stockblocks, you can use the benefit twice if you time it right on the first and last day of the event. If you cant afford them yourself consider asking a friend for a loan for a fee if you have any, or maybe duke can help you for a week if your credit limit is big enough.
with the setup above I managed 2000+ attacks easily each year.
New Mechanics:
So as we saw last year with proximas summon there are 5 minions with ID's 100, 101, 102, 103 & 104.
you can easily search for all of these at once by using an apostrophe in the search bar.
each of these minions was spawned in a different country and last year using the discord I put together to organize an offensive against them we managed to fly out and take them all down. (we don't speak about Dyno'Salam)
M'aol was in torn but made to hop countries by the dev team as it was broken, so we expect it to be coming back to torn before being awakened again this year. The other minions we expect could move locations.
I have a discord set up that had 10,000 players in it last year and currently only has 3000 players so if you want to join to track the fights do so. Also let me know if you are a faction leader and I'll give you permissions.

These Minions of M'aol dropped the rarest items in the game literally priceless artifacts allowing users to keep reading the same books over and over for a year, infinite free cans....
These Minions and M'oal have special abilities/buffs/debuffs against the player:
Firstly the minions need to go out first they will also have random buffs that M'aol has in the screenshots below:
as you can see they have buffs preventing you from attacking M'aol until they have been taken down themselves.
100 attackers will recieve loot:
M'aol has a second health bar as at 5% HP he becomes 20x tankier.
Their stats are permabuffed to knock out attackers in one-shot:
90% of the Stygian darknesses will be wasted. on top of the already wasted stacked Stygian Darknesses...
Unless using Crystalline Falcata you will not damage them unless a Stygian Darkness has landed on them.
Unless defeated within a week M'aol will dissapear but luckily they do not regen HP...
