Of late I noticed locally the tip culture has transformed considerably. For decades it was if you sat at a restuarant and had a waitress, if she did a great job you gave her a 10% tip. A gift, a reward for exceptionaly service.
Now you pick up a pizza and the debit machine asks about tips typically starting at 20%.
Also many reports of folks losing their shit when they don't get tipped.
How much do you tip?
Do you tip where possible if asked, or just when seated at a restaurant with an assigned server?
