Fun facts. Craig Counsell used to manage the brewers before the cubs, and also played for the brewers 2times. William Contreras, the catcher for the brewers is the brother of Willson Contreras who was on the Cubs when they won the World Series. Abner Uribe, the closer for the brewers, is the 2nd cousin of Juan Uribes 2nd cousin.
The cubs pitchers are not so hot. The first guy was decent at first, but the brewers learned his pitches fast, and he fell off quickly. We went through our pitchers fast af and were stuck with Rea for a while, who was just flopping. Also, the Cubs need to stop swinging for the fences every swing. We need to be strategic.
The brewers pitchers seem very solid. That Polish sounding last name guy was impressive. The batters seem more strategic, as well.
Mind you, i haven't been watching the games this season before the cubs were the wildcard, but im just talkin about what i saw from the recent games, especially the one last night.

terrible play at the end of the Phillies/Dodgers game......obvious panic by the Philly pitcher. Coming from a baseball lifer, that Philly loss will sting for life among the ones that are trying to get to a title.
