Where does staff say it's being taken off inactive accts?

They didn’t flat out say ‘inactive’ accounts, but ‘dead’ accounts. If they we’d only in fedded profiles, I would think they would have specified that. 

I could be wrong, and again, I’m a nobody, but as someone who purchased these and isn’t part of the 1% of Torn, I think it’s kind of a weird move. If staff wanted them to be enjoyed by everyone, they’d have been better off putting items they take off of fedded accounts in a ‘jail display’ like they do with prison contraband in real life, not selling them on the market where only Torn’s 1% can afford them. 

Edit: Hope that didn’t come off Dickish. Wasn’t meant to, and everyone’s entitled to their own opinion, just seems like an odd call.

how does torn determine a dead account??

i stopped playing for 15 years, was my account considered a dead account?

is that why I returned to torn after 15 years to an empty account with 100 refills?

I assume it's just permafeds but worth clearing up. It could be problematic in cases of lost loved ones too. I suspect it's just jailbirds though.

These arent being taken off accounts, new ones are being generated by the caches-- and thats why I sold mine for full price the second I saw this thing pop up in the API over a year ago!

Opening them would be having to admit they made a mistake...They can't even blame Ched cause other players said it was a mistake...Yes...please open them...

They should have added a few collectables that can only come from,these cashes.   Then there is a chance for something new and unique.   Preferably a wearable that works with armor.  Then people might open them.

So you did the smart thing, lol. I got stuck with my staff item. I had never considered selling it until 4-5 months ago, and now this, lol. Looks like I’ll have it another 15 years
