I’ve got an idea I’d like to share and see if it’s both possible and something the community would find interesting. I’d call it “Summoning the Dead.”
Right now, Torn City has plenty of players who, for various life reasons, drifted away from the game and gradually forgot about it. My suggestion is to send them a personal message through the email they used to register their account a little nudge from the grave, so to speak.
To prevent abuse, these contacts would need to be limited for example, only once a year and restricted to who can request them. The sender would have to be genuinely connected to the inactive player’s life in Torn: either married to them or on their friends list.
The message itself would be written by the person who wants to reach out, but the Torn staff would handle the actual sending, ensuring personal contact details remain fully confidential.
The big advantage of this idea is that many old Torn members still hold huge fortunes or unique items that could find their way back into circulation if they returned.
What do you all think? Would Summoning the Dead be a worthy ritual for Torn’s community? 💀✨
