Education passive

I was thinking about quitting my job and going to the education job like not a users company, but the cities company for the reduction of education time. Does anyone know how long it would take for me to reach?

Look at points per day, points to level, and base stat requirements for each position.

Then look at which ones give permanent benefits even after leaving the job.

With the above you can make a well informed decision.

However it costs Job Points to promote. Even if you have the stats necessary to have the highest promotion, you still have to go through every rank. 

It took me about a month to get the brain surgeon in medical. I never bothered with edu or law, but it should be about the same time (edit: with stats that allow you to promote to the top)

You'll have to get your intelligence to 500 to be able to join education. From there it should take 102 days if I calculated it right, using your job points in priority of promotion > +100 intel.

To Fast Track the Educator city job, it will take a minimum of 26 days assuming you have the appropriate work stats going into it:

"The city Education career can be fast-tracked in 26 days if you enter this career with a minimum Intelligence of 4365, Manual of 1252 and Endurance of 1236"*

If you don't have the stats, my recommendation would be to seek out a player company that sells trains - as that will be the most time efficient way to get what you need ( 80 trains would do it, and at 4 a day - that's just a few weeks to get you where you need to be.  32-40m or thereabouts.  Will save you months of time.)
