Essentially chat 3.0 is broken for me, and chat 2.0 only works on occasion

Does it do the same in private browsing mode with scripts/extensions disabled?
If you tether to your phone does it start working on your laptop (or was your phone using the same wifi as your computer?)
Chat 3.0 uses sendbird, something on your PC or network could be blocking those sites.
so, turning off extensions doesn't work
Incognito mode does work
changing vpn server does nothing
My phone uses the same wifi, same vpn provider (proton my goat)
rebooting pc doesn't work
and its not just a chat 3.0 thing i believe since chat 2.0 breaks sometimes also, altho perhaps thats an unrelated issue due to chat 2.0 bein trash
Incognito worked, but disabling your scripts and extensions made no difference - OK.
In normal mode can you do a hard refresh with Torn open (if Chrome on Windows this would be Ctrl+F5 or Ctrl+Shift+R)
If that makes no difference go through the browser settings and clear your cache (am hoping the previous hard refresh was enough, just so you don't lose your content/cookies for other sites etc. by doing this step)
"Chat has failed to load" on desktop (chrome). Works fine on the torn mobile app on android.
