Does it make sense to prolong getting "Shadow of doubt" after having all the first row upgrades in order to get the weapons/armour for the boss encounters?

I'm currently grinding my basket after missing a couple of Halloweens previously.
Better basket = more treats = more upgrades = more energy = more treats
The Revitalize weapon bonus also becomes feasible with higher basket, which again compounds with the above.
I'd say no, but it's a personal choice. My basket should be primed for next year, but the downside is that I've missed the NPC stuff this year.

on the note of them being staff, you can absolutely attack a helper. after all they are regular players like you and me, bound to the same rules. they are actually bound to more strict rules.
