Rules?

Are there any sort of rules or regulations for griefers? I get halloweek and how random attacks are normal, but isn't there something against private bounties or personal vendettas against another player simply because they divorced your sister? A vendetta so petty that you will pay in-game money to ruin the game for someone, all so your sister can get strong enough to win against someone?

Keep it out of RL harassment and anything goes, part of the game my dude. Would focus on just getting stronger than them.

Divorcing someones sister is solid grounds for harassment around these parts. Hey if you don't lvl up you'll start getting wins from bounties, so there's that.

It's easier for people to be dicks in a game.  Most of them are puzzies irl and probably can't stand up for themselves there so they do it here.

Get used to it.   Gaming community is super toxic.  People kill themselves ffs and people tell them to do it!

On Halloweek, everyone in Torn is petty as f**k. Because it's an attacking holiday with great rewards, every player here is looking for targets. Any perceived slight is a great reason to farm someone weaker for candy. And if it inconveniences the person- even better!

This is a great time of year to keep your head down. When the holiday is over though- let the flames fly! Catch a ban if you feel fancy. Halloweek 2026 will still be so far away most people will forget about you between now and then.

Except anyone whose sister you've divorced. They'll probably remember you.

EDIT: You'd be safer in a faction. That seems like a no-brainer.

If you feel like you gotta restart, this game aint for you. There's always a bigger fish and it's about rising above not starting back at the bottom. Seen so many restarts, people always find em.
