So I'm posting this as I've had this weird error that only occurs on PC but not mobile. I have had the crime tab function normally intermittently but 80% of the time it just shows this error message. I have disabled torntools but it seemed to have effect on it.

You might have AquaTools mod installed on your browser. If this isn't happening in an incognito window or on other browsers, it is likely being caused by a script.
