Thrie was a former officer who I hired as a helper years ago, he was with the team for a couple of years before leaving to prioritize real life, understandably so.

 

They've recently returned and expressed an interest in returning as staff.

 

If staff part on good terms I have no issue with them returning to the fold, in Thrie's case he wanted to start afresh as a helper - which made sense from our perspective too as the guidelines, procedures and tools have changed even in the brief period he was gone - so it allows him to get up to speed in the existing training environment with the recent recruits.

Helpers are the first line of communication between staff and players by answering player questions and assisting with general game issues. They will help with any level of gameplay answer and are often found in New Player Chat and the forums, offering guidance and moderating.
