Elims rewards, what rewards

So no rewards for an event that seems rushed and shoe horned into 2025 to fulfil a “promise”

But wait torn city times is offering the top 10 from each team, top 10 overall and top 10 under a year old a reward. This assuming 1k players per team (it could be more) we’re looking at 150 rewarded players assuming some people don’t fit 2 slots, from 12,000 players. Meaning only 1.25% at a max potentially much less will get anything.

And let’s be honest only the richest will fill most of them slots, the forums have been crying out for a reason to participate if you’ve done elims numerous times and we’ve just not been given that reason

Announcement

We are looking for feedback and suggestions on additional reward systems that we could potentially implement in the future. Our struggle has been determining a reward structure that is more than simply cosmetic, isn't worthless to wealthy players while being disproportionately valuable for newer ones, and not already covered by existing mechanics such as Merits, Books, Enhancers, Company Specials, Faction Upgrades, Property Customizations, e.t.c.

Yeah it must be too expensive or hard to add any new rewards. 

Considering a badge a reward is like people taking NFTs as an investment.  It has no value. No one cares.

Elimination is how noobs get into HOF factions and utilize their +18% steadfast for years on end. Load image: laughing

The badges are pretty cool imo.

Places in HOF factions are even more scarce than 1.25%

If you expected real rewards, that's on you

Ched has spent years saying he knows people won’t fight ranked wars just for bragging rights and that he’s aware people only fight for cash…. But elims pops up and all of a sudden he thinks 12k people will put their all in for happy thoughts and hand shakes 

It's embarrassing how little effort goes into the game in 20 years.  Buddy says torn is his baby yet treats it like a prom night dumpster child.

Oh I agree with you. Just had no expectation of it happening. To Ched's defense, not every event needs to be one that pays out big money. Not every event needs a huge population playing. You do want a mix of things. I get that, but I'm still not a fan. I've done elimin once and never really did dog tags either. Not using my free time and in game energy for a couple merits

The primary reason to partake was tokens, players were rewarded by a percentage of their contribution in tokens
