On a Chromebook, already cleared cache, just get stuck on a screen that says “Verification is taking longer than expected, please reload the page if this continues”

Can you replicate the issue in Incognito window with all of your scripts and extensions turned off?
The Chromebook doesn’t have incognito mode but no scripts or extensions on it
I don't have a chromebook, but per Google search it looks like Chromebook supports other browsers as well as Incognito windows.
This Chromebook doesn’t cus it’s a school Chromebook, but others on the same administration have been able to open torn
Are you able to do a full reset of the browser? Or clear out cookies/cache for Torn from the browser settings? If Cloudflare does not like something from your browser's end, then the check can get looped. Your browser profile is failing Cloudflare check and it is up to you to figure out what is causing it and how to get past it. Normally I would recommend checking if things work in Incognito window, if they do then you will have to try disabling all of your extensions/vpn in the regular window, delete all cookies related to Torn to see if that helps.
It just randomly fixed itself and I'm not complaining lol
