I am really pissed off that every time i try to use torn on my phone it makes me go back to the computer and load my email - i wont be able to do it over xmas and so will be locked out. its annoying. how about some other options?

Why are you having to open your email to use the app?
If this is for the two factor authorisation - just set it to use the authenticator app instead?
You are required to do a 2FA authentication when your session cookie saved locally is removed (either by your browser or by you). So if you have to do a 2FA authentication every time, you probably have your browser set to clear your local data after each session, which you can simply disable. You can also configure your email account on your phone to get the 2FA emails on your device or switch over to Authenticator based 2FA from your security settings so that your 2FA code is always available on your device.
