This year’s Elimination competition allows players to vote for their leaders for the very first time. If you are considering running for one of the leadership positions, or you just want to pretend, we’d like you to create a promo video advertising your candidacy.
Your video should be no longer than 30 seconds and include a political-style presentation on why you’d make a good Elimination leader. You can appear in the video if you like or you may use shot and stock footage, but you must at least record the voiceover in your own voice. Use of AI filters is permitted but please do not create the entirety of your video with AI as it will be undeniably shit.
If your video has been created after you’ve signed up for Elimination, you should mention your team’s name and try to include its theme in your video. You may also wait until the event’s attacking period has started, if you wish, and create an attack video criticizing your current captain while stating why you would have made a better leader. With a maximum of three videos permitted, there’s no reason you can’t do both!
RULES
Create a political promo video advertising your candidacy as an Elimination leader.
Your video must be no more than 30 seconds long.
Please say your name/ID and the year 2025 at the start or end of the video. This will not count toward your 30 second time limit unless your name takes six years to say.
You may enter three videos in this competition.
You may not use any entries from previous competitions.
Do not post anything explicit or in contravention of Torn’s rules.
Keep your entry PG-13 or we’ll hire you as staff and assign you as d3vl’s permanent case manager.
All entries must be submitted by 23:59:59 on the 19th of December.
All entries must remain accessible for a month after the closing date. We cannot judge entries uploaded using Discord.
The winners will be selected by the Community Events team.
The decision of the judges shall be final and no correspondence or discussion shall be entered into.

2nd place: Silver ribbon + 500 points + special gift + Silver Microphone
3rd place: Bronze ribbon + 250 points + special gift + Bronze Microphone
