I play a lot during work hours.

I’ve only been in Torn for like three months, so I can’t even pretend this is some “since 2006” love story. 

The reason I’m still here is: I found good people in a place that’s basically a digital alleyway. Somehow, in a game where the local culture is “crime pays,” I ran into people that actually helpful, funny, reliable… the kind of people that make logging in feel like hanging out, not clocking in.

So yeah, Torn… I still play because it’s fun, it’s chaotic, and it’s got the rare loot drop. And that’s worth a little kiss.

I just love getting mugged and bountied that much! 

No but on a serious note, Torn has been a first experience in gaming for me in which the faction or the guild isn't just nicknames, total trophies and some extra benefits(I'm looking at yoi clash of clans) but a real, breathing, annoying, memeing and supportive family which works together through the week. That's the reason i still haven't skipped a day without Torn since I started this journey. I really am expecting a long history with Torns unique (weird) and weird (unique) community. Elims was an amazing chance to see outside my faction and what a pleasant surprise it was! I could go on but I already see the tldr message and the bounties from Duke, so I'll stop,

Trying to answer this in my best duke impression.

I gave Torn City a lil kiss on my screen like the absolute menace I am. Don’t ask why — Torn and me got history.

I love Torn ‘cause it ruins my day every single day and I still log back in like “yeah this’ll fix it.” I’ve been mugged, jailed, broke, betrayed, and somehow convinced myself this is fun. That’s real love.

I play at work, at night, half asleep, full addicted. Torn don’t judge me. Torn just takes my money and lets me try again.

So yeah Duke, I smooched Torn.
Toxic relationship? Maybe.
Quittin? Never.

Now gimme them mistletoes before Torn robs me again.

I've been in a loving financially rewarding marriage for well over 800 days here in torn! Irl not so much! 

Well, couple of reasons have still held me here...

I've met lovely friends here that I've never had in real life. It's like a small community filled with all sassy and all sane-head people. But that combo is the fun of Torn city. U never expected me to sign up to a game where everyone was a saint... Lol. I'd have left after day one. But tye criminal vibe; love it

Again I'm yet to punch Leslie in the nose so bad, that when next he sees me spinning the wheel...well he'll know better.

Dukey, you! Yes! You... Not that I have anything against you, lol... But I also want a real fight with you. I mean, I want to beat you. Not now, but that time's coming. **Laughs like the devil** 😈😈😈

Lastly, I'm yet to have a perfect Torn love relationship,  and own expensive stuff. Until then, Torn still got me.

Thank you Dukey! I love torn because of the community, with all its toxicity, and community events. You can play this game however you want, so far its one of the best online game experiences for me. I plan to stay for a while.

The game is helping me to go over a difficult life in my life with lost of family member and an almost failed married!
Is like a refuge where i spend time, I am having fun and i am making new friend every day!
To be honest i am not sure what would be about me without Torn in the last 6 months! Is literally saving my sanity and giving me purpose (for example, waking at 3am for the xanax pill).
Thank you guys for helping me to survive the difficult IRL days.

Torn is my MAIN GAME (yeah I said it!) and I love it because the community at large, a bunch of interesting (kinda), intelligent (mostly), kind (often) and degenerate (always) individuals coming together to beat the crap out of each other.

And I love it for my faction, a micro version of this community that gave me a home to learn and grow and have fun within the larger one.

Torn my beloved, I love your FOMO game mechanics that keep me signing in at least three times a day to see number go big. I love how any inactivity on my part harms the people who rely on me in the game. I love how I wake up in the middle of the night to take a Xanax... actually, this is really starting to sound like a toxic relationship.

Also judging by my wife's reaction to me making out with Torn, I may have just given her the ick.

I don't remember how it started.

I was brought here as a very young child.. I don't remember much.. I had to live in the streets.. Fight with cats over food in the garbage.. Learned how I'd snatch candies from Sally's store.. 

Untill one day.. I don't know.. He.. He found me. The Duke was walking in the streets when he saw me lying on the ground. He found me. Taught me how to fight. He made me one his goons. Gave me clothes, drugs.. and most importantly GUNS. He gave me purpose in life.

I live for Duke, and That's why I'd never quit.
