Is the new update the end of Xanax usage as we know it?

The new update sees only 1000 Xanax being restocked in SA at a time, and it sells out within 30 minutes of restocking, but still taking the old time of ~2 or so hours to restock whereas it used to be in stock for a fair few hours before selling out meaning you could time your long flight to obtain them, which was the trade off to get them.
Now it looks like you're taking a huge risk of taking all that money and spending all that time to land and have absolutely no idea if you're going to see any Xanax at all

Wouldn't that just make Xanax price higher? There is other places to get Xanax also, so it could just make it more expensive.

As I've said countless times, you can also buy cheap Xanax from Japan (it's actually cheaper there than SA when it's stocked) and the UK has some that's only slightly more expensive than SA. YATA with the filter set for drugs and items sorted in alphabetical order is your new best friend.

Hell, even Canada has is for 40k below current market price.

Current lowest market price is 884k, bazaars 840

Canada goes for 845-848k or so

Edit: Just went to Canada, it was 862k now. Seems it may possibly be linked to market values.

All the Abroad items have been reworked in the last 2 days, they have all gone up in cost from what I've seen while a lot of new items were added. The rework says they will change over time so sometimes one item will be worth buying but later a completely different item might be better value, my only concern is now the Xanax market is going to be even more expensive while there is no new ways to earn extra money, other than being lucky and making it for one of the ~30 minute windows to buy Xanax at cost price

And it is my first forum post so give a guy a break haha, not all posts need pretty pictures to gain attention as well.

This risk has always been here though even before the update.

If you're talking about the unpredictable price tag, when reselling just transfer the cost increase back to your trader + fees for your time if any. 

100k at the lowest end more EACH, is not "slightly more expensive".

i've made 6 damn trips to SA in the last 2 days with NOTHING IN STOCK BESIDES SMOKES! 4 other faction mates have had the same, 3 friends outside faction have said the same, all of us flying at different times, this change is actual garbage lol

i've also hit canada 3x, hawaii, china, mexico twice, and switzerland, for 19 total flights, and have had nothing besides ecstast/vicodin/temps available at ONE SINGLE destination, NOT. ONE.

like unironically that is madness

that's not how it works, people aren't just going to pay you more for xanax than anyone else because you flew there 10x with nothing in stock, what lol

and he's VERY OBVIOUSLY not talking about the "unpredictable price tag", he's talking about the fact that you can make SIX FLIGHTS IN A ROW there and have NOTHING in stock any of those times, caps for emphasis because it's getting absurd at this point.

that genuinely changes nothing about what he said, what's your point? what brand new people on their first account are chugging 3 xans a day before they get into a decent faction and have an income? which is exactly what your picture shows, i know your meme game is stronger than that lol

Have you potentially considered that this is why the change was made in the first place? So many people have become sheep and go to one place over and over again so much that they've lost the ability to think logically. The difference between SA and Japan is only $3k currently and almost every single time I check Japan at least some in stock there while SA is always empty.

I can only hope your group adapts to the changes rather than sits and complains about it. It's not reverting back and the system seems to be fine to me as sell prices are going back to normal.

I suspect stock levels are being balanced in advance of the future drug production crime alongside other travel updates.

You first para don't make any sense so I'm ignoring that. Even before the update there were times where stocks were out and I had to wait. The risk of getting mugged abroad has always been there.

I haven't landed in SA since the last update so no clue how how bad is the restock timing there, but I've been to UK, JP and Canada recently and xanax were in stock for as low as 779k.

I would wager more xanax comes in via drug pack openings. There might be a slight price bump but this absolutely is not the end of xanax the same way as the increase in points needed to refill didnt end refills.

I'm pretty sure I didn't buy any Xanax for my own use all of 2025 because I had a stock of like 80 of them and I opened my drug packs every week

Xanax price has been too low for too long, it was around 850k in item market before this 5% sale fee was introduced. 
Now deduct that 5% of current price, its still little low. 
once the price stabilise, travelers will make the same profit as they used to. 

also the reduced spawn of xanax is probably done to balance the market I believe. It all makes sense as there is more items to fly for now which btw gives more profit.
