Well this took a turn. Mouthing my laptop screen for Dukes enjoyment. I’m relatively new to Torn but have been obsessed with it since I started. Probably something to do with my adhd. I found a faction basically day one while trying to rent some shoddy trailer or something and the owner offered me a position in his faction. That had been one of my best decisions to date in torn. The faction was super helpful and we are like a big family. We all seem to get along really well but certain people have spats still just like a real family. No punches have been thrown literally or figuratively yet though. In my picture I’m Giving my in game husbands profile picture a smooch haha. I do not swing that way in real life and this is just a mutually financially beneficial relationship. He had a PI and no spouse so I said what the heck… I could be gay in Torn if it meant I could fly for free and have max happy… I’m happily married to my wife this is not some online gay fantasy hahahaha. Anyway let’s move on from that. This game is awesome. I’ve met great people and would be friends with them IRL if we were all close to each other. Oh and Duke thanks for the loan I’ll make sure I keep making those interest payments on time. Here is to a lifetime in Torn if it so happens!!

I love Torn City because it’s simple on the surface but incredibly engaging once you dive in. You can jump in for a few minutes or sink hours into it, and it always feels rewarding. What really keeps me coming back are the holiday events — they’re creative, fun, and actually make the game feel alive. Each event gives you something new to look forward to and keeps things from ever feeling stale. On top of that, the community is great, with a lot of players genuinely willing to help new players get a hang of the city. Torn does an amazing job of keeping players invested without making it overwhelming, and that’s why I enjoy playing it more and more.

What do I love about this steaming pile of scrap, junkyard of a city? Well. That's exactly it, junkyards and scrap! I'll be needing a whole lotta scrap to build my rocket to the moon, and I haven't seen a better place to do it. There's even measurable quantities of resources in the water! Definitely not good, but still use-able, and I like to say "One girl's treasure is another man's...water"..(??) And anyways, who's gonna miss the FAA investigating unauthorized launches and hover vehicle sightings out in the normal, fully functioning, sane and mundane common public. 

So that's why I'm here, and I am surprised to say, besides the trash, there's quite a few good finds that warm this unlawful nightmare. Some of them I'd even still call people.

After paying my respects at the entrance to this wonderful city, I think I need to rinse my mouth with soap. The antibacterial kind...

What makes Torn City so special is all the players, so I decided to kiss them all under the poison mistletoe.

The reason im still playing because I have no friends in real life lol torn keeps me company at home, work, out hotboxing with the gang torn will forever and always be there, so will I. Duke i better get 10 of them thangs fr i already wasted like 1600 E bruh, searching that fcking trash ahh dump man fck.

I love the place because of the enemies and targets that I made along the way (and friends), and I like it here because I thought it was a game, but turns our it was a spreadsheet simulator of life.

I’m play Torn because this little city stole my heart.
Can’t quit something that feels like home. 
I've met some amazing people that have encouraged and motivated me. 
How can someone stop playing once they've started!?!?!
