HT vs Nameless Alliance Sector 7 Showdown

I keep seeing the same comments about Nameless only being there because of OBN and how OBN should do this and that.

Guys, let’s be real. Any faction that stays in that land in that area is only because OBN/C3 allows it. We could just wave our hands and say that entire area is now OBN territory if we wanted. 

Q has a great post above why the whole “not being able to attack from pink tiles” is a specious argument. It’s literally over S7 tiles, so being tied to land is a disadvantage as if they were sectored, they could attack from any tile instead without being attacked back. 

All that notwithstanding, the whole pink tiles/blue tiles is something completely arbitrary that we made up. We have no one to answer to if we wanted to change that. If it makes it easier to conceptualize, we could wave our hands again and redraw the map so all the pink tiles are expanded by one space and then people won’t feel bad about being limited to not attacking pink tiles. 

Asides from that, allowing invaders onto the land we claimed is obviously ridiculous. 

We’re unlikely to go after rackets up there so people have a chance to have some real benefits to territory wars. But again, obviously, we’re not going to limit ourselves if there’s a big strategic reason to do so or if our neighbors are being just general dicks. 

As Q said, no one is forcing anyone to fight up there. If you don’t like the conditions, then you can try somewhere else or not do territory wars.

First of all. OBN/Nameless startet this war. Not HT. You stole 2 of our territories by making threats about a full alliance attack on us. When we asked for them back we were met by the standard arrogance and new threats that we didnt belong on this land, and so on. 

Yes i started gathering a small group of friends, as you know with the report you got from your spy you had placed here. But it was Nameless that did the attack first. And they have been planning and attacking us from YOUR land, with your support. So this is very much a Nameless/OBN operation. If not you could have told nameless they could not attack from your land. 

What i do agree on is that you are in a shitty spot now. You cant give up support of nameless mid fight. That would send a very bad signal to the rest of the alliance. But as you very well know, this could have been handled so much smoother before this war. We didnt ask for much. Just 2 small territories that was stolen from us. 

And on a side not. If i have understood Chedburn correct he wants more action on the territory map. Still one of his closest staff members (Stretch, leader in OBN) are one of the guys trying to end every action you see on the map. 

I hope you guys get some top notch coins and experience points from your latest harvests.

This is exactly the arrogance that is the reason for this war. HT was in this area before you guys. We both know this area sucks. Crappy territories not worth fighting for. Still we are now in a full war. Why is that? It is not worth it financially for any part. Could it be that some factions are tired of your bully behavior?

The map arguments here about how much OBN handicapping a fair fight can be discussed back and forth. Let's put that aside for a bit.

There is simply one truth in all of this that shows we are all playing a shitty, stale and unfair version of the game and perhaps some of us contributed on this state more than the others.

Answer the following question please:

"If every faction would be distributed on the map according to their strength which sector do you think HT would land?"

Min S3 would be my answer.

They had been sitting on Sector 6-7 in a rather humble way and they are told to drop tiles which they wanted to claim back.

And OBN factions who are told here to be itching to go and fight, they are itching not because HT and friends are doing anything wrong. It is because active factions are bored out of their mind and want to play the game. 

Again it is up to the community to change this situation and hopefully to Ched who stated a few times he has ideas for TT wars. 

Will 2026 be the year we get that update? 

Wow... that might be the most arrogant post I've seen for a while. I really hope there was some tongue in cheek about it... I'm sure you could just take action and stop it. But to belittle so many people in so many factions that you "could just wave your hands and take it back"... Wow.

Nice to see the leaders of the oldest, strongest factions in the game are staying grounded. Guess it's easy to throw rocks from ivory towers.

And these dogshit Nameless facs would be lucky to even be on the map. S6 at absolute most. They need a Torn-tattooed German war general hopped up on meth for 3 days just to take a few territories.

This is all cope because you caught planning an attack and Nameless pre-empted you. It's hard to discern what you even want. Do you want more action on the map? Because you are getting that very action right now and are doing nothing but complaining and make excuses about it. It is somehow arrogant for OBN/Nameless to tell you that land doesn't belong to you, but not arrogant for you to take the opposite stance of they absolutely belong to you and apparently cannot be taken by any means ever. I also enjoy that OBN is both the aggressor state waging an unjust war and also trying to stop all action on the map.
